Events
 You will find a list of upcoming Faith in the City events. Really, the only official Faith in the City event is a gathering, and we do those once every two weeks. However, other events will be posted here that may be of interest to you. If you need to get driving directions or a map to the Gethsemane House, scroll to the bottom of the page and use the nifty form provided.

July 15th, 2005
How about another round of theology on tap? Join us at the BBQ joint, Old Glory, in Georgetown (with vegetarian options available) to have appetizers and beverages of your choice. We will discuss relevant spiritual, political, and social issues going on in our world. We'll battle wits and share opinions. (And do it all with respect for one another.) July 30th, 2005
We are planning our second mission blitz, a four hour project where we use our skills, abilities, and muscles to help the less fortunate. Keep your calendar open for this event, as it will probably run from Noon to 4 PM on July 30th. Currently, we are looking at doing another event at Pilgrimage Christian Church in Suitland, MD. Weekly Events/Worship
We will post shared weekly meetings and opportunities that might be connected or in some way affiliated with Faith in the City.
Sundays:
National City Christian Church: You can join the Gethsemane Disciples, George & Monique, Laura & Nathan, and Emily & Jared every Sunday morning for worship services. There is a hispanic service, attended by Elizabeth and Kevin, at 11:00 AM in Phillip's Chapel. There is a Gospel Service with choir and laid back atmosphere at 8:30 AM in the sanctuary. The traditional service (which most of us go to) is at 11:00 AM in the main sanctuary. It's an option out of many. Check out National City Christian Church for more information.
Mondays
Gethsemane Study: Most every Monday night at 8:30 PM, the Gethsemane Disciples gather for a weekly chaplain time, where we confront issues and reflect on our spiritual lives. We sing, pray, and dig deep on meaty issues like mission, community, spiritual exile, discipleship, and more. If you are interested in joining us, call ahead to make sure we are meeting on time.
